Hello Vancouver!

So! This is it! It's a re-start?! back on the road?

Who knows! First stop in Paris for the weekend! The backpack is done! the papers are ready, the logistic is managed... on the other hand my mind is definitely not ready yet... I think the slap in the face at the airport/in the plane is going to be big!

And it was! Arrival at Paris airport early on Tuesday morning, very early (too early)! Small visa check at check-in, we pass the checks and hop on the plane! Head to Frankfurt for the transit! The plane is far from being full, a lot of space between the passengers.

Stop in Frankfurt! we pass security checks again, temperature check (covid's power) and hop go for 10 hours of flight!

This time the plane is almost full and it is a little tight ... as it's a day flight everyone giggles in every way it's not necessary possible to sleep.

Arrival in Vancouver! we pass the identity check (that's OK I only have been checked 10 times today!) with small verification on the isolation plan, hop luggage, hop immigration for my work permit (moment of intense stress useless since I was asked almost nothing as paper) and hop taxi and here I am at my place of confinement!

Small apartment, with small shared garden, quiet little comfort and great sun! It's going to be long but OK.

And now we wait, drawing, reading, series, yoga... It's march all over again!

Except this time I'm in Canada and there's something waiting for me at the end (after the administrative paperwork I mean)!!

Next! Pemberton!

Small town 2h30 from Vancouver, at the foot of the mountains. I have a job in an equestrian/horse breeding centre waiting for me!

But for now, we're waiting!

Little kiwis in The Alpes

After a little splash in the sea in June, little trip to the mountains in July!

I met Julie (friend from New Zealand) , little sad point of the weekend Anne-so could not join us but we could still schedule an aperitif zoom.
And Oona, Julie's little dog was also hiking with us!

On the weekend program, relaxing, hiking, a little yoga, relaxing again, hiking and a little more relaxing. All under the sun!

For the first hike, we took a tour of "the balconies of the 2 Alps", 360° sceneries of the Alps (this is the green line on the map).
For the second day, we made the game a little tougher, and we took "devil's hill" and we went down through the Crete.
The view was beautiful, the hike was great but I really drooled! but it was definitely worth it!!

In short, a great weekend of relaxation! even if the legs are a bit painfull at the end!!

Back in the water!

Waiting for Canada!

I went on holidays!!! Back in the 66 in Port-Vendres, in the south of France!
The opportunity to see friends, ponies and fishes!!
And I must say that it feels good to be in the water! Even if it's a little fresh!
I was suppose to do a few dives but my ears decided otherwise so I could do only one but it was great to feel good the sensations under the water!

And as I have a waterproof camera I was able to try it !

Must say it feels good to change air!

Lets start!!!

Alright! Lets do this!!

After 2 big trips in New Zealand and Australia, I am finally starting a blog in English (so far i was writing only a french blog)

So little catch up on the news, I came back from Australia at the beginning of February 2019, I did a waitressing near Perpignan for the summer (from April to end of September), and work as a night-auditor in a hotel in Toulouse for the winter.

Mid-while, i was preparing my departure for Canada initially planned for mid march....
I was literally ready to fly out with visa, plane ticket and backpack ready.... Unfortunately a small virus manage to slow down the world and I got stock in France a little longer.

Today, things starting to get a little better (pandemic wise because for the rest...."shit hits the fan") so hopefully I will be able to start my new adventure in Canada at the beginning of September.

Previously i had plans but... considering everything got cancel in march and everything is still really uncertain (especially 3 months in advance) I have no plan except landing in Montreal! Which will be my first stop.

In the mid-time I'll enjoy the summer with family and friends! I'll keep you posted!!

See you soon! Take care!!!!
